I plan on meeting up with some old college friends who are living and doing theatre in NY to get the inside story and scoop on the whole NY scene.
Once I have more info on our scheduled tours of theaters, I will be looking into getting backstage tours at production houses and theaters.

I'd like to check into information on the production houses in NY. I really want the big house backstage tours to see into the organization etc.
NY Entry #1
I'm a bit late on this. Sorry.
I have never been to NY. Kind of passed around it once heading to Massachusetts
Preconceived notions that I have include:
~ It's expensive
~ Rent is too high
~ Parking is bad so many people take taxis
~ Subway is large
~ Lots of people
I hope to have a good time seeing some of the city. Enjoying the history, architecture, theatre, people. I want to figure out if I could live there or not.
I've not ever been to NY and I'm looking forward to going with a bit of a guide and freedom. I really want to get to the Museum of Art., The Met, and maybe China Town. Being downright touristy but not a target. I also plan to meet up with old theater friends who live there.
